Hotel Vista Osaka Namba

The location was excellent, helpful, friendly English speaking staff. Modern hotel, scan for wifi, coffee, tea, and free amenities all day at the lobby. 15 minutes walk to Namba station, took a taxi with luggage only 1000 yen. Close to main attractions , food, and shopping all around you, 7/11 downstairs. The room was spacious, a triple room, enough space for all our luggage and shopping! Fresh towels and water everyday. Check out at 11am, and you can extend your checkout with a small fee. Great luggage storage before and after check-in or checkout.

Loved the location and the size of the room. Our accommodations in Tokyo were much smaller for a higher price. The hotel lobby is on the second floor. They have a great breakfast and laundry facilities! They have staff that speak perfect English and I believe some speak Mandarin as well.

This place exceeded our expectations, and was a great value for the price. Our room was on the bigger side for Japanese hotel standards, and having separate rooms for toilet, sink, and shower helped with space management -- as well as having an extra door between the bathroom area and the sleeping area. We had no problem finding space to lay out our suitcases (which is often a challenge in Japanese hotel rooms), and everything was perfectly clean and new-feeling. It's not a luxury experience by any means, but for the price it's all very lovely, clean, and professional. The location is also very convenient, close to the train and the lively Dotonbori nightlife area, with endless restaurants and bars within walking distance. It can be loud and crowded outside, of course, but we didn't hear any commotion inside the hotel, it felt peaceful and protected. We loved the free breakfast -- it had lots of varied options with Western and Japanese cuisine. We also took advantage of the laundromat, which was very handy, cheap, and easy to use. Overall, would certainly stay here again!

Even though it was a small room, we love that it can fit all for of us and my girls love the bathtub and sitting by the window to look out at the street view. It is just a few minutes walk from Namba station and it's really convenient to take the train to explore any other locations. There were a couple of Halal food around the area. Hehe we just use Google map to look for nearby halal food. My personal favourite would be: Halal Ramen Nani Waya Pho-Me Halal Restaurant (next to Nani Waya) Halal Ramen Ayam Ya Dotonbori

We had a super quite room and at the same time very central and close to the commercial area. Very convenient location. Beds were comfortable, although a bit to the harder side as all beds we had in Japan. The staff was friendly and happy to accommodate our requests. Good shower.
